PHS Senior Athlete of the Week

Caleb Maser - Senior Athlete of the Week

Caleb has played varsity basketball for the past 2 years for PHS. He is a 4 year track athlete as well. His speed is what sets him apart from most. He finished with a 3.9 gpa last trimester. Caleb will be attending Grand Valley State University next year. Caleb has really enjoyed the time he has spent with his teammates and coaches. They all push me to become a better player everyday. He is going to cherish as much as he can from this last season and trimester as before it’s all said and done.

Coach Dan Klein says "Caleb is as fine a young man as I’ve ever as I’ve ever had the honor to coach. He is one of the best shooters we’ve had and never gives less than 100% effort in anything he does. I have little doubt that Caleb will accomplish much in life."

Congratulations Caleb - Go Trojans!!!!

Congratulations Karley Way - PHS Senior Athlete of the Week.

Karley has been skiing since she could walk. She joined the ski team to get on the slopes more and become a better skier. This was her second season competing and she will miss it deeply. She has also played volleyball for 3 years and 4 years of varsity tennis. She's been at the AAESA for the last 2 years in the engineering program. She will be playing tennis and studying architectural engineering at MIlwaukee School of Engineering next fall. According to Karley "Wherever I end up I know I will look back on my highschool athletics and be proud of the life lessons I've learned. I want to thank all of my coaches especially Stephanie Larson, Jason Grubaugh and all the ski dads. I would not be where I am today as an athlete and a person if it wasn't for their positive impact. I also want to thank my parents for everything they have done for my education, athletics, and personal growth. " Coach Larson says that Karley "has competed on the varsity team the whole time she has been skiing for PHS. She has taken over the team captain role this year and has acted as a leader from day 1. When Karley started she had never skied a course before and now she races with confidence and no fear. I am so sad to not have Karley on the team next year, but excited to see what she becomes."

Congratulations Karley - Go Trojans!!!
